Pugilis (Japanese: コブシの国) is the Fighting-type Kingdom in Nintendo DS Pokémon Conquest. Pugilis is one of the easiest arenas to win in, almost comically so. The goal is to claim all 4 banners, and hold them for 5 turns, or claim all 4 banners, and defeat all of the enemies to claim victory. Ringing the bells will raise Attack. Attacking Pokémon on the center platform will knock them off the platform.

Combat[edit | edit source]

Attacking[edit | edit source]

Attacking in Pugilis is as simple as claiming the 2 banners closest to your spawn, and then focusing on knocking enemies out of the arena to claim the other 2. Enemies will usually try to funnel themselves back into the area, and blocking it off with a spare Pokémon will cause a blockage that leaves most of them unable to attack or progress. From there, they can be steadily picked off, and the sacrificial Pokémon can be switched out with banner Pokémon to restore their HP.
